There is an epic event going on later this year when the legendary creatures Godzilla and King Kong fight each other with the fate of the world hanging in the balance. Fans of these two popular characters cannot miss ‘Godzilla vs Kong’ which is set to be released on March 26th, and will be the 36th film in the Godzilla franchise and the 12th in the King Kong film series. It is a sequel to ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ and ‘Kong: Skull Island’ and directed by Adam Wingard, known for his work in horror movies such as ‘Death Note’ and ‘You’re Next’.

This fourth film in the MonsterVerse franchise tells how Kong and his protectors undertake a dangerous journey to find his true home, but soon come across an enraged Godzilla and both creatures clash in an epic fight. Apparently, an unseen power is provoking Godzilla into demolishing cities and killing everything in its sight. The film will also introduce other monsters such as Hell Hawk and Warbat.

The project stars famous actors such as Alexander Skarsgård as Nathan Lind, Millie Bobby Brown as Madison Russell, Brian Tyree Henry as Bernie Hayes and Rebecca Hall as Ilene Andrews. Tom Holkenborg, who has also worked in ‘Deadpool’, ‘Tomb Rider’ and ‘Zach Snyder’s Justice League’, was in charge with composing the film’s score.

After being delayed from November 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ‘Godzilla vs Kong’ will be released internationally on March 26, 2021 and in the US on March 31, where it will be released both in theaters and on HBO Max.
