Nintendo has finally confirmed that numerous beloved Nintendo 64 games are coming to Nintendo Switch Online service this October, along with Sega Genesis games in a new membership plan called the “Expansion Pack.” Additionally, some of these games will also be available to play online with up to four players.
Even though the exact release date and pricing are still unknown, Nintendo has revealed a preliminary list of games, including titles such as ‘Contra Hard Corps’, ‘The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’, ‘Sonic 2’ and ‘Super Mario 64’. As with other services from different consoles, more games will be added over time, including classics like ‘F-Zero X’, ‘Pokemon Snap’, ‘Paper Mario’ and ‘Banjo-Kazooie’. Between launch games and those being available in the future, there are 15 titles.
90’s kids will also be excited to know that Nintendo will also be introducing a new gamepad - possibly resembling the iconic N64 controller.
